Well I found a route in an old copy of MBR mag. It said the uphill at the end of the first was steep (infact unrideable) and the decent required some down-hilling skills (infact very nearly a vertical rock face). So I ended up carrying my bike across heather and through bogs for about 1 mile. It was getting dark and started to rain when I was getting back to Rhayader so I kept to the road and missed out what was supposed to be the best part of the ride Doo !. I will do Rhayader again but I will get a better route from the local bike ship first.
